PH-DTY

The PH-DTY, built under license at Aerostar in Baçau in 1986, was the first Yak-52 in the Netherlands. It served with the DOSAAF and was later bought by Termikas in Lithuania and completely overhauled with the registration LY-AOJ. After this the aircraft was exported to the UK to the multiple UK aerobatics champion Mark Jefferies under the English registration G-BWVX. After being purchased by the Dutch owner, the aircraft was registered in the Dutch register in 2013 as PH-DTY. After an engine overhaul, the aircraft is now equipped with 400 hp. The PH-DTY is easily recognizable by its bright red color and black two-bladed propeller.
